Before commencing with the backup process, you can choose to export only selective emails to your hard drive. The filtering is performed by the date range based feature available with Hotmail account backup software. You need to provide the To and From dates to filter emails for download.

Delete Messages after Download

Clear the clutter on your email account with the Delete After Download option available with the Hotmail account backup utility. On enabling this feature, it will delete all the messages on your Hotmail email account after downloading them successfully on your hard drive.

Set a time slot for controlling the throttling of internet bandwidth. The option will allow users to set a specific time slot that will help in maintaining a specified internet bandwidth during the course of backup process. In this way, you can control the consumption of network bandwidth.

Preserves Originality of Emails

The software maintains the original format and structure of email messages, irrespective of the file format user selects to have backup. The status of the read and unread messages will not change even after the backup of emails is completed in any of the file formats.

Support for Multiple Languages

The Hotmail Account Backup software interface supports the usage of six types of different languages. By default, the language of the interface remains English but according to the requirement of user, they can change it to any other language such as German, French, Spanish, Japanese, etc.

Preservation of Email Header

During the backup process, the header of email messages is completely preserved. Information stored in each header like; To, From, Message ID, Received-SPF, IP details etc. are kept intact with the Hotmail email backup software while creating a local backup of users' Hotmail account.

Resume Disrupt Backup Process

While downloading the Hotmail mailbox, if the backup of email message is disrupted due to any reason (system shutdown), there is facility to restore the process. In the next login to the application, you will be directed to the abrupt process. You can restore the process from where it was stopped.
